Payment profile migration

A method, comprising:

• receiving, by a migration service provider computer comprising one or more hardware processors, an indication to transfer a first set of payment profiles from a third-party service provider computer to a designated service provider computer, the first set of payment profiles stored on the third-party service provider computer according to a first file format;
• downloading, from the third-party service provider computer in response to the indication, the first set of payment profiles;
• extracting, from each payment profile of the first set of payment profiles, corresponding payment information;
• performing payment transaction tests based on the corresponding payment information;
• generating, based on the payment transaction tests, a second set of payment profiles according to a second file format, the second set of payment profiles including the corresponding payment information;
• and
• storing the second set of payment profiles.

A non-transitory computer readable medium storing computer-executable instructions, that in response to execution by a system comprising one or more hardware processors, cause the system to perform operations comprising:

• detecting an indication to transfer a first set of payment profiles from a first computer of a first service provider to the system, the first set of payment profiles stored on the first computer according to a first file format;
• downloading, from the first computer in response to the indication, the first set of payment profiles;
• performing a profile migration to generate, based on a second file format, a new set of payment profiles corresponding to the first set of payment profiles, wherein performing the profile migration comprises:
• extracting, from a first payment profile of the first set of payment profiles, first payment information;
• performing a zero dollar authorization based on the first payment information;
• and
• generating, in response to determining that the zero dollar authorization is successful, a first new payment profile based on the first payment information and based on the second file format;
• and
• storing the new set of payment profiles.
