Time series data query engine

A method, comprising:

• receiving time series data collected by a first sensor;
• storing the time series data collected by the first sensor in a first data array associated with the first sensor, the first data array being stored proximate to a second data array, the second data array including time series data collected by a second sensor, the first data array being stored proximate to the second data array based at least on the first sensor and the second sensor being in a first sensor group;
• receiving a query to perform a processing algorithm on a subset of time series data;
• generating the subset of time series data by at least retrieving the first data array and the second data array;
• and
• executing the query by at least applying the processing algorithm to the subset of time series data.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium including program code, which when executed by at least one data processor, cause operations comprising:

• receiving time series data collected by a first sensor;
• storing the time series data collected by the first sensor in a first data array associated with the first sensor, the first data array being stored proximate to a second data array, the second data array including time series data collected by a second sensor, the first data array being stored proximate to the second data array based at least on the first sensor and the second sensor being in a first sensor group;
• receiving a query to perform a processing algorithm on a subset of time series data;
• generating the subset of time series data by at least retrieving the first data array and the second data array;
• and
• executing the query by at least applying the processing algorithm to the subset of time series data.
