Prefetching accessory data

A non-transitory computer-readable medium including one or more sequences of instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause:

• receiving, by a coordinator device, a first event notification from a first accessory device indicating that a first event occurred;
• determining, by the coordinator device, that the first accessory device is associated with a second accessory device;
• in response to receiving the first event notification, obtaining, by the coordinator device, accessory data from the second accessory device;
• storing, by the coordinator device, the accessory data;
• sending, by the coordinator device, an event notification message to one or more user devices indicating that the first occurred;
• and
• sending, by the coordinator device, the stored accessory data to the at least one user device.

A system comprising:

• one or more processors;
• and
• a non-transitory computer-readable medium including one or more sequences of instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause:
• receiving, by a coordinator device, a first event notification from a first accessory device indicating that a first event occurred;
• determining, by the coordinator device, that the first accessory device is associated with a second accessory device;
• in response to receiving the first event notification, obtaining, by the coordinator device, accessory data from the second accessory device;
• storing, by the coordinator device, the accessory data;
• sending, by the coordinator device, an event notification message to one or more user devices indicating that the first occurred;
• and
• sending, by the coordinator device, the stored accessory data to the at least one user device.
