Abstract
In a system in which communication between an information processing apparatus and a printing apparatus is possible, the information processing apparatus detects that communication with the printing apparatus has become possible and, in response to detection that such communication has become possible, generates print data based upon data that the information processing apparatus is displaying on a display unit connected to or built in the information processing apparatus, and transfers the generated print data to the printing apparatus. The printing apparatus prints the data received from the information processing apparatus.

A printer comprising:
- an input unit configured to accept an input of a print instruction from a user;
- a transfer unit configured to transfer a print data request to an information processing apparatus in response to the printing instruction inputted by the input unit;
- a receiving unit configured to directly receive print data from the information processing apparatus via a wireless communication after transferring the print data request by the transfer unit;
- and
- a printing unit configured to print the print data received by the receiving unit.
A printing method by a printer, comprising the steps of:
- accepting an input of a print instruction from a user;
- transferring a print data request to an information processing apparatus in a case where the printer accepts an input of a print instruction from a user;
- directly receiving print data from the information processing apparatus via a wireless communication after transferring the print data request;
- and
- printing the received print data.
A non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing a computer program causing a computer to execute a printing method by a printer, comprising the steps of:
- accepting an input of a print instruction from a user;
- transferring a print data request to an information processing apparatus in a case where the printer accepts an input of a print instruction from a user;
- directly receiving print data from the information processing apparatus via a wireless communication after transferring the print data request;
- and
- printing the received print data.
An information processing apparatus comprising:
- a receiving unit configured to receive print data request from a printer;
- and
- a transfer unit configured to wirelessly and directly transfer to the printer, print data for printing data for which printing is designated when receiving the print data request by the receiving unit.
A control method of an information processing apparatus, the method comprising the steps of:
- receiving print data requested from a printer;
- and
- wirelessly and directly transferring to the printer, print data for printing data for which printing is designated when receiving the print data request.
A non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing a program for causing a computer to execute a control method of an information processing apparatus, the method comprising the steps of:
- receiving print data request from a printer;
- and
- wirelessly and directly transferring to the printer, print data for printing data for which printing is designated when receiving the print data request.
