Abstract
A memory system may include: a memory device comprising a plurality of pages, which include a plurality of memory cells coupled to a plurality of word lines, and in which data is stored, a plurality of memory blocks in which the pages are included, a plurality of planes including the memory blocks, and a plurality of memory dies in which the planes are included; and a controller including a first memory, the controller configured to perform a command operation to store data segments of user data for the command operation in the memory blocks, and store meta segments of metadata for the command operation in the memory blocks and a second memory included in the host.
Claims20
A memory system comprising:
- a memory device comprising a plurality of pages, which include a plurality of memory cells coupled to a plurality of word lines, and in which data is stored, a plurality of memory blocks in which the pages are included, a plurality of planes including the memory blocks, and a plurality of memory dies in which the planes are included;
- and
- a controller including a first memory, the controller configured to perform a command operation to store data segments of user data for the command operation in the memory blocks, and store meta segments of metadata for the command operation in the memory blocks and a second memory included in the host.
An operating method of a memory system comprising:
- receiving a command from a host, for a plurality of pages, which are included in each of a plurality of memory blocks of a memory device, and which include a plurality of memory cells coupled to a plurality of word lines;
- performing a command operation corresponding to the command(between a controller of the memory device and the memory blocks included in a plurality of planes in a plurality of memory dies included in the memory device;
- and
- storing data segments of user data for the command operation in the memory blocks, and storing meta segments of metadata for the command operation in the memory blocks and a second memory included it the host.
