Abstract
Disclosed are a terminal connected to a head mounted display and operating method thereof. The present invention includes determining whether a rotation state of the terminal is a landscape mode or a portrait mode, obtaining an input for displaying an input interface on the head mounted display, and controlling the head mounted display to display at least one input interface based on the determined rotation state and the obtained input.
Claims20
A method of operating a terminal in communication with a head mounted display, the method comprising:
- determining whether a rotation state of the terminal corresponds to a landscape mode or a portrait mode;
- receiving an input for displaying an input interface on the head mounted display;
- and
- controlling the head mounted display to display at least one input interface based on the determined rotation state and the received input.
A terminal in communication with a head mounted display, the terminal comprising:
- a display;
- a sensor configured to sense a rotation orientation of the terminal;
- and
- a controller configured to:
- determine whether the rotation state corresponds to a landscape mode or a portrait mode based on the rotation orientation sensed by the sensor;
- receive an input for displaying an input interface on the head mounted display;
- and
- control the head mounted display to display at least one input interface based on the determined rotation state and the received input.
