Abstract
An apparatus for protection of an elongated structural support from impact, the apparatus includes an elongated impact protection component in the form of a unitary part having an inner surface, an outer surface, and a plurality of orthogonally-oriented projections spaced along a length of the elongated impact protection component. The projections of the elongated impact protection component include integrally formed connectors for interlocking connection to other same type impact protection components.

An apparatus for protection of an elongated structural support from impact, the apparatus comprising:
- an elongated impact protection component (102) in the form of a unitary part having an inner surface (116), an outer surface (118), and a plurality of orthogonally-oriented projections (120) spaced along a length (106) of the elongated impact protection component (102), wherein the projections (120) comprise integrally formed connectors (122, 124) for interlocking connection to other same type impact protection components (102).
