A method for preventing or treating a diabetic complication caused by vascular leakage comprising:
- administering to the subject a pharmaceutical composition comprising an effective amount of a TGase2 inhibitor.
A method of screening a preventive or therapeutic agent for a diabetic complication caused by vascular leakage, comprising detecting inhibition of transglutaminase 2 (TGase2) activity.
