Solid fuel composition formed from mixed solid waste

A solid composition, comprising:

• an amount of carbon;
• from about 5% wt. to about 20% wt. hydrogen;
• and
• oxygen,
• wherein the solid fuel composition comprises:
• between about 5% wt. and about 35% wt. mixed plastics;
• and
• the amount of carbon is selected from the group consisting of from about 54% wt. to about 58% wt., from about 56% wt. to about 62% wt., from about 60% wt. to about 64% wt., from about 62% wt. to about 66% wt., and from about 64% wt. to about 68% wt.

A solid composition, comprising:

• an amount of carbon;
• from about 5% wt. to about 20% wt. hydrogen;
• and
• oxygen,
• wherein:
• the solid composition has an energy content of at least about 8,000 BTU/lb.;
• and
• the amount of carbon is selected from the group consisting of from about 54% wt. to about 58% wt., from about 56% wt. to about 62% wt., from about 60% wt. to about 64% wt., from about 62% wt. to about 66% wt., and from about 64% wt. to about 68% wt.

A solid composition, comprising:

• a solid plastic matrix comprising mixed plastics;
• and
• organic material disposed in the solid plastic matrix,
• wherein the solid composition comprises:
• an amount of carbon selected from the group consisting of from about 54% wt. to about 58% wt., from about 56% wt. to about 62% wt., from about 60% wt. to about 64% wt., from about 62% wt. to about 66% wt., and from about 64% wt. to about 68% wt;
• from about 5% wt. to about 20% wt. hydrogen;
• and
• oxygen.
