Hose puller and method

A device as defined in claim 2, wherein the device defines at least one first laterally-extending aperture defining at least in part the laterally-extending grip, and at least one second aperture spaced relative to the first aperture and defining at least in part the lock.

A device for pulling a hose and nozzle assembly, comprising:

• first means for manually gripping the device and pulling a hose and nozzle assembly secured thereto;
• and
• second means spaced below the first means (i) for releasably engaging at least one of the hose or nozzle of the hose and nozzle assembly, (ii) for allowing manual movement of at least one of the second means or hose and nozzle assembly relative to the other between a locked position and an unlocked position, (iii) for securing the hose and nozzle assembly to the device in the locked position, and (iv) for releasing and detaching the hose and nozzle assembly from the device in the unlocked position.
