Abstract
A vehicle seat includes: a seat frame serving as a strength member; and a support body mounted to the seat frame to receive a load of a seated person, wherein the support body has surface rigidity such that an entire support surface is bent even when being subjected to a local load, and an elastic structure is interposed between the support body and the seat frame to cause the support body to be in elastic contact with the seat frame.

A vehicle seat comprising:
- a seat frame serving as a strength member;
- and
- a support body mounted to the seat frame to receive a load of a seated person,
- wherein the support body has surface rigidity such that an entire support surface is bent even when being subjected to a local load, and an elastic structure is interposed between the support body and the seat frame to cause the support body to be in elastic contact with the seat frame.
