A method for manufacturing a DDR-type zeolite membrane comprising the steps of:
- coating a slurry containing DDR-type zeolite seed crystals onto a surface of a support, the DDR-type zeolite seed crystals having an average particle diameter of less than or equal to 0.2 μm and an average aspect ratio of less than or equal to 1.3, and
- causing crystal growth of the DDR-type zeolite seed crystals.
