A golf ball comprising:
- an outside surface having a plurality of face regions and a plurality of edge regions, each of the plurality of face regions having a first triangular region, a second triangular region, and a third triangular region, and each of the plurality of edge regions having a first elliptical region and a second elliptical region;
- and
- a plurality of dimples formed into the outside surface, the first triangular region of each face region including a first triangularly arranged set of dimples of the plurality of dimples, the second triangular region of each face region including a second triangularly arranged set of dimples of the plurality of dimples, and the third triangular region of each face region including a third triangularly arranged set of dimples of the plurality of dimples;
- wherein the first triangularly arranged set of dimples includes fewer of the plurality of dimples than the second triangularly arranged set of dimples and the second triangularly arranged set of dimples includes fewer of the plurality of dimples than the third triangularly arranged set of dimples.

A golf ball comprising:
- an outside surface having a plurality of face regions and a plurality of edge regions, each of the plurality of face regions having a first triangular region, a second triangular region, and a third triangular region, and each of the plurality of edge regions having a first elliptical region and a second elliptical region;
- and
- a plurality of dimples formed into the outside surface, the first elliptical region of each face region including a first elliptically arranged set of dimples and the second elliptical region of each face region including a second elliptically arranged set of dimples;
- wherein the first triangular region of each face region includes a first triangularly arranged set of dimples of the plurality of dimples, the second triangular region of each face region includes a second triangularly arranged set of dimples of the plurality of dimples, and the third triangular region of each face region includes a third triangularly arranged set of dimples of the plurality of dimples,
- wherein the first elliptically arranged set of dimples includes fewer of the plurality of dimples than the second elliptically arranged set of dimples, and
- wherein the first triangular region of each face region is nested within the second triangular region of each face region and the second triangular region of each face region is nested within the third triangular region of each face region.
