Abstract
A method of treating ischemic heart disease can include administering a therapeutically effective amount of a composition including date seed nanoparticles to a subject in need thereof. Exemplary suitable dosage forms can include tablet, gel, paste, and suspension. The therapeutically effective amount of the composition including date seed nanoparticles can be about 2.0 mg/kg to about 2.5 mg/kg.

A method of treating ischemic heart disease comprising administering a therapeutically effective amount of a composition including date seed nanoparticles to a subject in need thereof.
A method of preparing nanoparticles of date palm seeds comprising:
- providing dry date seeds;
- grinding the dry date seeds to form seed powder;
- and
- milling the seed powder in a planetary ball mill at ambient temperature and pressure to produce date palm seed nanoparticles.
A composition comprising:
- date seed nanoparticles, the date seed being a seed of an Ajwa date;
- the fruit of an Ajwa date;
- and
- a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
