Compositions for the treatment of shock, autodigestion, multi-organ failure, intestinal ischemia, or intestinal hypoperfusion are provided.

A composition comprising about 1.0 wt % to about 1.2 wt % of tranexamic acid, about 4.2 wt % to about 5.1 wt % of polyethylene glycol, about 3.6 wt % to about 4.4 wt % of glucose, and one or more electrolytes.
A composition comprising about 1.0 wt % to about 1.2 wt % of tranexamic acid, about 4.2 wt % to about 5.1 wt % of polyethylene glycol, about 2.5 wt % to about 6.0 wt % of glucose, and one or more electrolytes.
A composition comprising about 7.2 grams to about 7.8 grams of tranexamic acid, about 29.3 grams to about 35.8 grams of polyethylene glycol, about 25 grams to about 40 grams of glucose, and one or more electrolytes.
