Abstract
A cross-leg alert device comprising a cross-leg detector for detecting a cross-legged posture and an alert generator is disclosed. The alert generator is to generate an alert to a user upon the cross-leg detector detecting a change in posture from a non-cross-legged posture to a cross-legged posture. The cross-leg detector is for detecting a cross-legged posture and the alert generator is for generating an alert signal to a user when the cross-leg detector has detected a change in posture from a non-cross-legged posture to a cross-legged posture.

An alert device for wearing on a thigh of a user, the alert device comprising an alert generator, wherein the alert generator comprises an alert signal generation device for generating a user perceivable alert signal when the user is in a crossed leg sitting posture when both thighs of the user are in abutment contact with the alert device and with the alert device between both thighs.
A cross-leg alert apparatus comprising an alert device for wearing on a thigh of a user, the alert device comprising an alert generator, wherein the alert generator comprises an alert signal generation device for generating a user perceivable alert signal when the user is in a crossed leg sitting posture when both thighs of the user are in abutment contact with the alert device and with the alert device between both thighs;
- and an attachment means for attaching the alert device to a first thigh of a user.
