Luggage system employing a telescopically-extendable handle and battery power supply assembly equipped with a semi-automatic battery power module ejection mechanism

A luggage system comprising:

• front and rear housing portions hinged together to provide a housing assembly provided with a set of spinner wheels;
• and
• a telescopically-extendable handle and rechargeable power supply assembly mounted within said rear housing portion and having a pair of spaced -apart guide tubes mounted in said rear housing portion, and supporting a pair of telescopically-extendable rods joined to a handle structure, for pulling said luggage system on said set of said spinner wheels;
• wherein said telescopically-extendable handle and rechargeable power supply assembly includes
• (i) a base housing component mounted in an aperture formed in said rear housing portion, and having a top surface with a power port access opening;
• (ii) a battery module casing mounted to and beneath said base housing component, and disposed substantially in the same plane as and between said pair of spaced-apart guide tubes;
• (iii) a rechargeable DC battery power module loaded through said power port access opening, contained in said battery module casing, and providing a DC battery recharging port and a set of DC power supplying ports, and said DC battery recharging port and said set of DC power supplying ports being directly accessible through the power port access opening provided in said top surface of said base housing component;
• and
• (iv) a semi-automatic battery power module ejection mechanism mounted within said battery module casing, for ejecting said battery power module from said batter module casing when the finger of a user presses down on said battery power module while retained in said battery module casing so that said battery power module automatically pops up above the surface of said power port access opening, for manual removable of said battery power module from said battery module casing.
