• The telescopically-extendable handle and rechargeable power supply assembly of claim 2, wherein said USB-type DC power supplying ports are adapted for receiving the USB plugs of electrically-powered devices and supplying electrical DC power to said electrically-powered devices in a voltage regulated manner, and wherein said mini-USB-type DC power recharging port is adapted to receive DC electrical power by way of a flexible DC power cord.

• The telescopically-extendable handle and rechargeable power supply assembly of claim 1, wherein said rechargeable DC battery power module is removable from said battery module casing.

• The telescopically-extendable handle and rechargeable power supply assembly of claim 2, wherein said mini-USB-type DC power recharging port and said USB-type DC power supplying ports are recessed within said base housing component so that when USB-type DC power plugs are inserted into said USB-type DC power supplying ports, said power port cover panel can be configured to allow DC power supply cables associated with charging operations to pass through a small channel beneath said power port cover panel while said power port cover panel prevents rain, snow and other elements from entering open USB-type DC power ports while said luggage is being transported through environments where exposure to rain and snow is inevitable.

• The telescopically-extendable handle and rechargeable power supply assembly of claim 1, wherein said power port cover panel comprises soft rubber seals on its underside to plug up and seal said DC power recharging port and said DC power supplying ports when said power port cover panel is arranged in said closed configuration.

• The telescopically-extendable handle and rechargeable power supply assembly of claim 2, wherein said power port cover panel is biased to automatically close down upon USB-type DC power plug connectors inserted into said USB-type DC power supplying ports during charging operations, and reduce exposure of said USB-type DC supplying ports to natural elements.

• The luggage system of claim 1, wherein said battery module casing is releasably fastened to said base housing component to permit said rechargeable DC battery power module to be replaced as required.

• The telescopically-extendable handle and rechargeable power supply assembly of claim 9, wherein said DC battery recharging port is realized as a mini-USB-type rechargeable DC battery recharging port, and wherein DC power supplying ports are realized as USB-type DC power supplying ports.

• The telescopically-extendable handle and rechargeable power supply assembly of claim 10, wherein said USB-type DC power supplying ports are adapted for receiving the USB plugs of electrically-powered devices and supplying electrical DC power to said electrically-powered devices in a voltage regulated manner, and wherein said mini-USB-type DC power recharging port is adapted to receive DC electrical power by way of a flexible DC power cord.

• The telescopically-extendable handle and rechargeable power supply assembly of claim 10, wherein said mini-USB-type DC power recharging port and said USB-type DC power supplying ports are recessed within said base housing component so that when USB-type DC power plugs are inserted into said USB-type DC power supplying ports, said power port cover panel can be configured to allow DC power supply cables associated with charging operations to pass through a small channel while said power port cover panel prevents rain, snow and other elements from entering open USB-type DC power ports while said luggage is being transported through environments where exposure to rain and snow is inevitable.

• The telescopically-extendable handle and rechargeable power supply assembly of claim 17, wherein said USB-type DC power supplying ports are adapted for receiving the USB plugs of electrically-powered devices and supplying electrical DC power to said electrically-powered devices in a voltage regulated manner, and wherein said mini-USB-type DC power recharging port is adapted to receive DC electrical power by way of a flexible DC power cord.

• The telescopically-extendable handle and rechargeable power supply assembly of claim 16, wherein said rechargeable DC battery power module is removable from said battery module casing.
