Abstract
Provided are 1) a hollow fiber cryopreservation instrument having a long support on which a hollow fiber is placed, wherein the support is formed of a low-temperature-resistant material, and 2) a cell cryopreservation method having a process of placing a hollow fiber on the support of the hollow fiber cryopreservation instrument, and a process of cryopreserving cells in a state in which the hollow fiber is placed on the support.
Claims15
A hollow fiber cryopreservation instrument comprising a long support on which a hollow fiber, in an internal space of which cells are included, is placed,
- wherein the support is formed of a low-temperature-resistant material,
- wherein through-holes passing through a side on which a hollow fiber is placed and a side opposite to the side on which the hollow fiber is placed are formed in the support,
- wherein through-holes are not formed at opposite end sides of the support in the longitudinal direction of the support,
- wherein the support has a bottom part on which the hollow fiber is placed, and sidewall parts that rise from the bottom part in a longitudinal direction of the support.

A cell cryopreservation method, comprising:
- a process of placing the hollow fiber, in an internal space of which cells are included, on the support of the hollow fiber cryopreservation instrument comprising a long support, wherein the support is formed of a low-temperature-resistant material;
- and
- a process of cryopreserving the cells in a state in which the hollow fiber is placed on the support.
