Method for supporting multi-bss in wireless lan system and device therefor

An access point (AP) supporting multiple BSSs in a wireless LAN system, comprising:

• a processor for setting a plurality of BSS identifiers per individual BSS belonging to the multiple BSSs;
• and
• a transmitter for transmitting a frame notifying a station (STA) of the plurality of BSS identifiers set per the individual BSS,
• wherein the plurality of BSS identifiers includes a first BSS identifier and a second BSS identifier which has a shorter length than the first BSS identifier, and
• wherein the first BSS identifier is set to a value that is different per the individual BSS whereas the second BSS identifier is set to a value that is identical for all the multiple BSSs.

A method of receiving, by a station (STA), a frame from an access point (AP supporting multiple BSSs in a wireless LAN system, comprising:

• receiving, from the AP, a frame notifying that a plurality of BSS identifiers has been set per individual BSS belonging to the multiple BSSs;
• and
• decoding the frame,
• wherein the plurality of BSS identifiers includes a first BSS identifier and a second BSS identifier which has a shorter length than the first BSS identifier, and
• wherein the first BSS identifier is set to a value that is different per the individual BSS whereas the second BSS identifier is set to a value that is identical for all the multiple BSSs.

A station (STA) for receiving a frame from an access point (AP) supporting multiple BSSs in a wireless LAN system, comprising:

• a receiver for receiving, from the AP, a frame notifying that a plurality of BSS identifiers has been set per individual BSS belonging to the multiple BSSs;
• and
• a processor for decoding the frame,
• wherein the plurality of BSS identifiers includes a first BSS identifier and a second BSS identifier which has a shorter length than the first BSS identifier, and
• wherein the first BSS identifier is set to a value that is different per the individual BSS whereas the second BSS identifier is set to a value that is identical for all the multiple BSSs.
