Abstract
An image reading method in the present invention includes: obtaining a pickup image by performing image pickup of an object mounted on a mounting surface with an imaging unit; and extracting an image of the object from the pickup image, based on a brightness difference between the image of the object and an image of a shadow of the object in the pickup image.
Claims19
An image reading method comprising:
- obtaining a pickup image by performing image pickup of an object mounted on a mounting surface with an imaging unit;
- and
- extracting an image of the object from the pickup image, based on a brightness difference between the image of the object and an image of a shadow of the object in the pickup image.
An image reading apparatus comprising:
- an imaging unit configured to obtain a pickup image by performing image pickup of an object mounted on a mounting surface, and
- a processing unit configured to extract an image of the object from the pickup image, based on a brightness difference between the image of the object and an image of a shadow of the object in the pickup image.
