Abstract
Presented herein is a Client Network Information Service (CNIS). The CNIS is configured to determine client network information for a communication from a client to at least one application running in a cloud infrastructure environment. The client network information is delivered to instances of the application and to a router associated with the application in order to enable the application to adjust service for the client.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- determining client network information for a communication from a client to at least one application running in a cloud infrastructure environment;
- and
- delivering the client network information to instances of the application and to a router associated with the application in order to enable the application to adjust service for the client.
A system comprising:
- a cloud-based infrastructure hosting one or more applications and having connectivity to a network;
- and
- a client network information service having connectivity to the one or more applications and being configured to:
- determine client network information for a communication from a client to at least one application running in a cloud infrastructure environment;
- and
- deliver the client network information to instances of the application and to a router associated with the application in order to enable the application to adjust service for the client.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage media encoded with software comprising computer executable instructions and when the software is executed operable to:
- determine client network information for a communication from a client to at least one application running in a cloud infrastructure environment;
- and
- deliver the client network information to instances of the application and to a router associated with the application in order to enable the application to adjust service for the client.
