Extendable patch panel

A method of building an extendable patch panel including the steps of:

• a. providing a plurality of interconnectable connection parts, each of the connection parts having a first side, a second side, a top end, and a bottom end and including:
• i. a base portion located at the bottom end and extending between the first and second sides;
• ii. a frame portion extending from the base portion to the top end, the frame portion extending between the first and second sides;
• iii. a first connection feature located on the connection part first side;
• and
• iv. a second connection feature located on the connection part second side;
• b. aligning the first connection feature of a first connection part with the second connection feature of an adjacent second connection part;
• and
• c. attaching the connection parts together by sliding the first connection feature of the first connection part into engagement with the second connection feature of the second connection part.

A method of building an extendable patch panel including the steps of:

• a. providing a plurality of interconnectable connection parts, each of the connection parts having a first side, a second side, a top end, and a bottom end and including:
• i. a base portion located at the bottom end and extending between the first and second sides;
• ii. a frame portion extending from the base portion to the top end, the frame portion extending between the first and second sides;
• iii. a first connection feature located on the connection part first side;
• and
• iv. a second connection feature located on the connection part second side;
• b. providing an adapter having a first adapter connection feature and a second adapter connection feature
• c. aligning the first connection feature of the first connection part with the second adapter connection feature of the adapter;
• and
• d. attaching the first connection part with the adapter by sliding the first connection feature of the first connection part into engagement with the second adapter connection feature of the adapter.
