Abstract
The present disclosure presents an improved system and method for displaying wind characteristics and effects in a broadcast. The method comprises utilizing a camera to record a broadcast, determining wind characteristics relative to the broadcast, and rendering graphics in a broadcast displaying the wind. In exemplary embodiments, wind is sampled via at least one sampling point in a venue and wind characteristics are displayed in the broadcast.

A method for displaying wind characteristics and effects in a broadcast, comprising:
- utilizing a camera to record a broadcast;
- determining wind characteristics relative to the broadcast;
- and
- rendering graphics in a broadcast displaying said wind.
A system for displaying wind characteristics and effects in a broadcast, comprising:
- a camera configured to record a broadcast;
- a graphics rendering component configured to display wind characteristics relative to the broadcast;
- and
- an output component configured to output said rendered graphics in a broadcast displaying said wind.
