A Method for Obtaining and Merging Multi-Resolution Data

A device for use in generating an image, that comprises:

• a receiver configured to receive information that relates to an image of a single target captured by at least two image capturing devices;
• at least two input buffers for storing the received information;
• at least one processor configured to:
• sample the stored information and store the sampled information at at least two output line buffers, each corresponding to a different image resolution;
• process the sampled information that had been stored at the at least two output line buffers in accordance with pre-defined disparity related information, wherein the pre-defined disparity related information is associated with a respective one of the at least two image capturing devices that had captured the information being currently processed;
• and
• retrieve information from the at least two output line buffers and to store the retrieved information at a hybrid row buffer, for generating the image;
• at least two output line buffers for storing the sampled information thereat;
• and
• at least one hybrid row buffer configured for storing information retrieved from the at least two output line buffers.
