Synchronizing secure session keys

A system for comprising:

• a memory;
• a processor in communication with the memory, wherein the processor is configured to perform a method comprising:
• intercepting a first client encryption initiation from a client, the first client encryption initiation intended for a server;
• initiating, based on the first client encryption initiation, a second client encryption initiation to the server;
• receiving, from the server and in response to the initiated second client encryption initiation, a server response;
• negotiating, based on the intercepted first client encryption initiation and based on the server response, a first secure connection with the client;
• obtaining, from the first secure connection, a session key to perform secure communications with the client;
• and
• establishing, based on the server response and based on the obtained session key, a second secure connection with the server.

A computer program product comprising a computer readable storage medium having program instructions embodied therewith, the program instructions executable by a computer to perform a method comprising:

• intercepting a first client encryption initiation from a client, the first client encryption initiation intended for a server;
• initiating, based on the first client encryption initiation, a second client encryption initiation to the server;
• receiving, from the server and in response to the initiated second client encryption initiation, a server response;
• negotiating, based on the intercepted first client encryption initiation and based on the server response, a first secure connection with the client;
• obtaining, from the first secure connection, a session key to perform secure communications with the client;
• and
• establishing, based on the server response and based on the obtained session key, a second secure connection with the server.
