Claims4
An assembly for coupling solar panels collinearly in a rail-less mounting system comprising:
- A. a standalone solar panel splice member comprising;
- i. a first and a second adjacent side;
- a. the respective first and second sides further comprising a top and a bottom arm each extending outward from the respective first and second sides forming an opening on each of the first and second sides;
- ii. a first anodization layer penetrable grounding element, the first grounding element coupled to the top or bottom arm of the first or second side;
- iii. a second anodization layer penetrable grounding element coupled to the top or bottom arm of the same side as the first grounding element such that a first and second solar panel are electrically coupled when the first and second grounding elements penetrate respective anodization layers of the first and second solar panels.
