Abstract
A system, topology, and methods for providing power or data to electronic devices are described generally herein. Other embodiments may be described and claimed. The system may include an internal power source, charging module, modem, and an external power coupling module.

A power supply comprising:
- a first connector configured to at least receive electrical energy;
- a second connector configure to at least output electrical energy;
- a battery disposed within a housing of the power supply;
- a first circuitry configured to at least charge the battery, the first circuitry operatively coupled to the first connector and the battery;
- and
- a second circuitry configured to at least transform alternating current from received at the first connector to direct current for storing in the battery.
