Abstract
Some implementations provide a device that includes a passive component and a substrate coupled to the passive component, where a surface of the substrate comprises a first irradiated portion. In some implementations, the first irradiated portion is located in an offset portion of the substrate. Some implementations provide an integrated device that includes a device layer and a substrate coupled to the device layer, where a surface of the substrate comprises a first irradiated portion. In some implementations, the first irradiated portion is located in an offset portion of the substrate.

A device comprising:
- a passive component;
- and
- a substrate coupled to the passive component, wherein a surface of the substrate comprises a first irradiated portion.
An integrated device comprising:
- a device layer;
- and
- a substrate coupled to the device layer, wherein a surface of the substrate comprises a first irradiated portion.
A method for fabricating a device, comprising:
- providing a passive component;
- coupling a substrate to the passive component;
- and
- forming a first irradiated portion on a surface of the substrate.
A method for fabricating an integrated device, comprising:
- providing a substrate;
- forming a device layer over the substrate;
- and
- forming a first irradiated portion on a surface of the substrate.
