Abstract
Disclosed herein are methods and compounds for treating a motor-associated neurodegenerative disease or condition. In some instances, also included herein are methods and compounds for treating a TDP-43 associated neurodegenerative disease or condition (e.g., ALS and frontotemporal dementia) and/or a C9orf72 associated neurodegenerative disease or condition (e.g., ALS and frontotemporal dementia).

A method of treating a motor-associated neurodegenerative disease in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering to the subject a therapeutic effective amount of isoflupredone, an isoflupredone derivative, an isoflupredone metabolite, an isoflupredone prodrug, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of isoflupredone.
A method of treating a TDP-43 associated neurodegenerative disease in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering to the subject a therapeutic effective amount of isoflupredone, an isoflupredone derivative, an isoflupredone metabolite, an isoflupredone prodrug, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of isoflupredone.
A method of treating amyotrophic lateral sclerosis in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering to the subject a therapeutic effective amount of isoflupredone, an isoflupredone derivative, an isoflupredone metabolite, an isoflupredone prodrug, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of isoflupredone.
