Treatment Device and System

A method comprising:

• obtaining a treatment device for treating a treatment area of a person's body, the treatment device comprising:
• a first treatment element;
• and
• a securement mechanism comprising a first opposable portion and a second opposable portion, the first opposable portion including a first receptacle configured to releasably hold the treatment element, the securement mechanism designed to transition between an open configuration and a closed configuration;
• altering a temperature of the first treatment element from a first temperature to a second temperature different from the first temperature;
• placing the first treatment element in the receptacle such that it is held by the first opposable portion;
• securing the treatment device at the treatment area by transitioning the treatment device from the open configuration to the closed configuration such that, in the closed configuration, the first treatment element applies pressure to the treatment area;
• and
• removing the treatment device from the treatment area.
