Claims26
A method for pretreatment of cellulose-containing textiles characterized by applying an aqueous solution with a pH between 1 and 7 to selected areas of the textile, wherein the aqueous solution comprises at least one agent durably changing the surface morphology of cellulose.
A method for imprinting a pattern on a dyed textile, comprising the steps of:
- a. pre-treating the textile with an aqueous solution having a pH of between 1 and 7 to selected areas of the textile representing the desired pattern, wherein the aqueous solution comprises at least one agent durably changing the surface morphology of the cellulosic fibers;
- b. optionally drying the textile;
- and
- c. optionally dyeing the textile.
