Abstract
A roller shade may be retracted and extended. In various implementations, when a roller shade is extended it may be laterally repositioned. The roller shade may include a track and a travelling member.

A roller shade comprising:
- a first end;
- a second opposing end;
- a length disposed between the first end and the second end;
- a shade adapted to:
- retract and automatically laterally reposition to a first position along the length;
- and
- extend and automatically laterally reposition to a second position along the length, where the second position disposes the shade closer to the second end than the first position.

A roller shade movement device comprising:
- a first member comprising a track;
- and
- a traveling member adapted to move along the track to automatically laterally move a shade of a roller shade when the shade is vertically moved, wherein the shade is coupled to the traveling member.
A method of moving a shade of a roller shade, the method comprising:
- adjusting a longitudinal position of a shade of a roller shade, wherein altering a longitudinal position of the shade comprises moving an end of a shade along a plane normal to a length disposed between a first end and a second end of the roller shade;
- and
- automatically adjusting the lateral position of the shade when the longitudinal position of the roller shade is adjusted.
