Securing sensor status by leveraging always-on processor and host-based trusted execution

A mobile device comprising:

• a first processor and a second processor being communicatively coupled to enable communications between the first processor and the second processor,
• the second processor being configured to
• receive an input of a code to authorize a transaction in a security sensitive application, and
• authenticate the transaction responsive to the input of the code;
• the first processor being configured to
• monitor sensor information indicative of a context change, and
• provide information indicative of the context change to the second processor;
• the second processor being further configured to
• authorize subsequent transactions responsive to the information indicating that the context change has not occurred since receiving the input of the code.

An apparatus for secure transactions on a mobile device, the apparatus comprising:

• means for receiving an input of a code to authorize a transaction in a security sensitive application;
• means for authenticating the transaction responsive to the input of the code;
• means for monitoring sensor information indicative of a context change;
• and
• means for authorizing subsequent transactions responsive to the sensor information indicating that the context change has not occurred since receiving the input of the code.
