Abstract
Methods, systems, and products authenticate a user to a device. A user selects or submits a media file for authentication. Features in the media file are compared to a set of criteria for authentication. The number of matching criteria, that is within a range of values for each criterion in the set of criteria, is determined. The number of matching criteria is compared to a threshold value. When the number of matching criteria equals or exceeds the threshold value, then the user that selected or submitted the media file is authenticated.
Claims20
A method, comprising:
- receiving, by a server, a video file sent via the Internet from a client device, the video file submitted as an authentication credential for an authentication;
- retrieving, by the server, a set of criteria associated with the authentication;
- determining, by the server, that features generated by the video file satisfy a boundary orientation associated with the set of criteria;
- and
- sending, by the server, an authentication response via the Internet to the client device, the authentication response authenticating the client device in response to the features generated by the video file satisfying the boundary orientation associated with the set of criteria.
A system, comprising:
- a hardware processor;
- and
- a memory device, the memory device storing code, the code when executed causing the hardware processor to perform operations, the operations comprising:
- receiving a video file sent via the Internet from a client device, the video file submitted as an authentication credential for an authentication;
- retrieving a set of criteria associated with the authentication;
- determining that features generated by the video file satisfy a boundary orientation associated with the set of criteria;
- and
- sending an authentication response via the Internet to the client device, the authentication response authenticating the client device in response to the features generated by the video file satisfying the boundary orientation associated with the set of criteria.
A memory device storing code that when executed causes a hardware processor to perform operations, the operations comprising:
- receiving a video file sent via the Internet from a client device, the video file submitted as an authentication credential for an authentication;
- retrieving a set of criteria associated with the authentication;
- determining that features generated by the video file satisfy a boundary orientation associated with the set of criteria;
- and
- sending an authentication response via the Internet to the client device, the authentication response authenticating the client device in response to the features generated by the video file satisfying the boundary orientation associated with the set of criteria.
