Golay sequences for wireless networks

A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing computer-executable instructions which, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to perform operations comprising:

• identifying a Golay pair;
• determining a plurality of weight vectors associated with the Golay pair;
• cause to search for a fixed delay vector associated with the Golay pair over the plurality of weight vectors associated with the Golay pair;
• generating Golay Sequence Sets (GSSs) based at least in part on the search;
• determining a short training field (STF) based at least in part on a subset of the GSSs;
• and
• causing to send the STF to a second device.

A method comprising:

• identifying a Golay pair;
• determining a plurality of weight vectors associated with the Golay pair;
• cause to search for a fixed delay vector associated with the Golay pair over the plurality of weight vectors associated with the Golay pair;
• generating Golay Sequence Sets (GSSs) based at least in part on the search;
• determining a short training field (STF) based at least in part on a subset of the GSSs;
• and
• causing to send the STF to a second device.

A method comprising:

• establishing one or more multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) communication channels between a device and a second device;
• receiving a short training field (STF) from the second device for channel estimation in a time domain or frequency domain;
• determining first information based at least in part on the received one or more STFs;
• and
• sending, to the second device, the first information.
