Abstract
A power storage apparatus includes an electrode assembly and a case for accommodating the electrode assembly. The power storage apparatus has a covering member that is arranged between the case and the electrode assembly to cover at least part of the electrode assembly. The covering member has an extending portion that extends in the protruding direction of the electrode terminals from one of the edges of the electrode assembly that is opposed to the electrode terminals. The coefficient of friction between the covering member and the electrode assembly is greater than the coefficient of friction between the case and the covering member.
Claims11
A power storage apparatus comprising:
- an electrode assembly having a plurality of stacked and layered electrodes;
- a case that accommodates the electrode assembly;
- an electrode terminal that protrudes from the case and is electrically connected to the electrode assembly;
- and
- a covering member that is arranged between the case and the electrode assembly and covers at least part of the electrode assembly, wherein
- the covering member includes an extending portion that extends in a protruding direction of the electrode terminal from one of edges of the electrode assembly that is opposed to the electrode terminal,
- a coefficient of friction between the covering member and the electrode assembly is greater than a coefficient of friction between the case and the covering member
- the electrode assembly has an outer surface that is in contact with the covering member, and
- the outer surface of the electrode assembly is rougher than the inner surface of the case.
