Illuminated sign for audio/video recording and communication devices

An illuminated sign for providing a warning that an area adjacent the illuminated sign is within a field of view of an audio/video (A/V) recording and communication device, the illuminated sign comprising:

• a front panel comprising translucent portions and opaque portions;
• an illumination source located behind the front panel, the illumination source illuminating the front panel such that the opaque portions block transmission through the front panel of at least a portion of the light emanating from the illumination source to provide the warning that the area adjacent the illuminated sign is within the field of view of the A/V recording and communication device;
• a motion sensor for activating the illumination source when the motion sensor detects motion;
• a power source comprising a rechargeable battery for providing power to the illumination source;
• and
• at least one solar panel for recharging the rechargeable battery.
