Claims18
An adhesive label comprising an uniaxially oriented multilayer facestock, wherein the facestock is uniaxially oriented in machine direction and comprises a core layer, a printable skin layer adjoined to the core layer, and an adhesive receiving skin layer adjoined to the core layer opposite the printable skin layer, and wherein the core layer comprises the following components:
- propylene homopolymer;
- a modifier consisting of at least one of the following:
- olefin elastomer, olefin plastomer and olefin block copolymer;
- and
- low density polyethylene, and wherein the printable skin layer comprises propylene homopolymer(s) and Ziegler-Natta catalysed linear low density polyethylene comprising density between 0.930 and 0.940 g/cm3, when measured according to standard ASTM D 792.
