Abstract
Mobile device performance is predicted for a specified timeframe to drive selection of presentation media to be rendered on the mobile device during the specified timeframe. Further, mobile device context is determined for the specified timeframe according to current and historical context data. Presentations identified as suitable for a given context are delivered to the mobile device according to the determined mobile device context.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- identifying a mobile device to receive a presentation over a network;
- determining a set of presentations for delivery to the mobile device;
- selecting the presentation from the set of presentations based on a set of constraints related to the mobile device, the presentation having a pre-determined set of resource usage parameters that comply with the set of constraints;
- and
- sending the presentation to the mobile device for display on the mobile device;
- wherein:
- at least the determining and selecting steps are performed by computer software running on computer hardware.
A computer program product comprising a computer-readable storage medium having program instructions embodied therewith, the program instructions executable by a processor to cause the processor to:
- identify a mobile device to receive a presentation over a network;
- determine a set of presentations for delivery to the mobile device;
- select the presentation from the set of presentations based on a set of constraints related to the mobile device, the presentation having a pre-determined set of resource usage parameters that comply with the set of constraints;
- and
- send the presentation to the mobile device for display on the mobile device.
A computer system comprising:
- a processor set;
- and
- a computer readable storage medium;
- wherein:
- the processor set is structured, located, connected, and/or programmed to run program instructions stored on the computer readable storage medium;
- and
- the program instructions which, when executed by the processor set, cause the processor set to:
- identify a mobile device to receive a presentation over a network;
- determine a set of presentations for delivery to the mobile device;
- select the presentation from the set of presentations based on a set of constraints related to the mobile device, the presentation having a pre-determined set of resource usage parameters that comply with the set of constraints;
- and
- send the presentation to the mobile device for display on the mobile device.
