Stylizing text by replacing glyph with alternate glyph

One or more computer storage media storing computer-usable instructions that, when executed by a computing device, cause the computing device to perform operations, the operations comprising:

• selecting a word displayed in text, the word containing a plurality of glyphs, each glyph corresponding to a respective character in a font;
• selecting a first glyph in the word, the first glyph corresponding to a first character in the font;
• identifying one or more alternate glyphs for the first glyph, each alternate glyph comprising a rendering of the first character using one or more typographical features available for the first character in the font;
• providing a visual indicator for display proximate to the first glyph in the word to indicate availability of the one or more alternate glyphs;
• receiving a first user action associated with the first glyph;
• responsive to the first user action, providing the one or more alternate glyphs for display proximate to the first glyph;
• receiving a second user action selecting a first alternate glyph from the one or more alternate glyphs;
• and
• responsive to the second user action, providing the first alternate glyph for display in place of the first glyph in the word.

A computer system comprising:

• one or more processors;
• and
• one or more computer storage media storing computer-usable instructions to cause the one or more processors to:
• identify a number in text as a fraction, the number being displayed in the text using a font;
• determine that the font uses a fraction typographic feature;
• provide a visual indicator for display proximate the number to indicate availability of an alternate fraction for the number using the fraction typographic feature;
• receive a first user action associated with the number:
• responsive to the first user action, provide the alternate fraction for display proximate to the number;
• receive a second user action selecting the alternate fraction;
• and
• responsive to the second user action, provide the alternate fraction for display in place of the number in the text.
