Abstract
A system and method involves detecting operational social disruptive events on a global scale, assigning disease or non-disease event staging and warnings to express data in more simplistic terms, modeling data in conjunction with linguistics analysis to establish responsive actions, generating visualization and modeling capabilities for communicating information, and modeling disease or non-disease propagation for containment and forecasting purposes.
Claims20
A computer-aided system for detecting and communicating event-related information, comprising:
- at least one parameter associated with at least some of a plurality of indications and warnings associated with an event type;
- an information collection subsystem comprising at least one repository having information and data obtained from at least one information source, the information and data being identified from the at least one information source by searching the at least one information source for the at least one parameter;
- an information analysis and reporting subsystem comprising:
- at least one selectable code for dynamically transforming the information and data;
- and
- at least one event report including the at least one parameter or the at least one selectable code;
- and
- a communications subsystem for transmitting at least a portion of the event report.
A computer-aided method for detecting and communicating event-related information, comprising:
- storing at least one parameter associated with at least some of a plurality of indications and warnings associated with an event type;
- receiving information and data obtained from at least one information source, the information and data being identified from the at least one information source by searching the at least one information source for the at least one parameter;
- transforming the information and data using at least one selectable code;
- storing at least one event report including the at least one parameter or the at least one selectable code;
- and
- transmitting at least a portion of the event report.
