Derivatives of 2-(1,2,4-triazol-3-ylsulfanyl)-n-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl acetamide which are useful for the treatment of inter alia diabetes

A compound of Formula (I)

• or a pharmaceutically acceptable salts or stereoisomer thereof, wherein:
• A1, A2, A3, A4, and A5 are independently selected from the group consisting of CH, CR1 and N;
• Y is absent or is selected from CH2 or CHC1-C5 alkyl;
• - - - - . is a single bond when Y is CH2 or CHC1-C5 alkyl;
• Z1 and Z2 are independently selected from the group consisting of CH and N;
• R1 is independently selected from the group consisting of halogen, CN, OH, C1-C6 alkyl, C1-C3 alkylene-C3-C6 cycloalkyl, C3-C6 cycloalkyl, and C1-C6 alkyloxy;
• R2 is selected from the group consisting of C1-C6 alkyl, C1-C6 alkylene-OR4a, C1-C6 alkylene-N(R4a)(R4b), C1-C6 alkylene-C(O)N(R4a)(R4b), C1-C6 alkylene-C(O)OR4a, C1-C3 alkylene-C3-C6 cycloalkyl, and C3-C5 cycloalkyl;
• R3 is selected from the group consisting of H, C1-C6 alkyl, and C1-C6 alkylene-C(O)N(R4a)(R4b) when Y is absent or,
• R3 is selected from C1-C6 alkyl, and C1-C6 alkylene-C(O)N(R4a)(R4b) when Y is CH2 or CHC1 C5 alkyl;
• R4a and R4b are independently selected from H, C1-C4 alkyl, and cyclopropyl;
• R5 is selected from the group consisting of H, F, C1-C6 alkyl, C1-C3 alkylene-C3-C6 cycloalkyl, C3-C6 cycloalkyl, and C1-C6 alkyloxy;
• R6 is selected from the group consisting of H, F, C1-C6 alkyl, C1-C3 alkylene-C3-C6 cycloalkyl, C3-C6 cycloalkyl, and C1-C6 alkyloxy;
• R7 is selected from the group consisting of H, halogen, CN, OH, C1-C6 alkyl, C3-C6 cycloalkyl, C1-C6 alkyloxy, O(CH2)mO(CH2)nCH3, O(CH2)mN(R4a)(R4b), OSO2CH3, SO2C1-C6 alkyl, C1-C6 alkylene-S02C1-C6 alkyl, SO2C3-C6 cycloalkyl, C1-C6 alkylene-S02C3-C6 cycloalkyl, SC1-C6 alkyl, SC3-C6 cycloalkyl, C1-C6 alkylene-SC1-C6 alkyl, C1-C6 alkylene-SC3-C6 cycloalkyl, and S(O)(NR8a)(R8b);
• R8ais selected from H, C1-C6 alkyl, and C3-C6 cycloalkyl;
• R8bis C1-C6 alkyl or C3-C6 cycloalkyl;
• m is an integer selected from the group consisting of 1, 2, and 3;
• and
• n is an integer selected from the group consisting of 0, 1, and 2;
• with the proviso that R5, R6, and R7 cannot be H simultaneously;
• and
• with the proviso that the compound is not any of:
