Abstract
There is a volatile composition dispenser comprising a housing comprising a rear frame having a frame opening, and an inner wall. A push button is movably disposed in the frame opening and the inner wall and is configured to be movable with respect to the inner wall from a first position to a second position wherein the push button is interlocked with the inner wall in the second position.
Claims20
A volatile composition dispenser comprising:
- a) a housing comprising a rear frame wherein the rear frame comprises a frame opening having a longitudinal axis;
- b) an inner wall in the opening, the inner wall comprising a proximal end at a periphery of the opening and a distal end;
- c) a push button configured to be movable within the frame opening from a first position to a second position relative to the distal end of the inner wall, wherein the push button comprises a button body;
- d) at least one first protrusion located at the distal end of the inner wall;
- e) at least one second protrusion disposed on the button body wherein the second protrusion is aligned to engage with and move past the first protrusion as the button is moved from the first position to the second position;
- and
- f) a volatile composition cartridge disposed within the housing adjacent the push button.
A method of assembling a housing for a volatile composition dispenser, the method comprising:
- providing a housing comprising a rear frame and a volatile composition cartridge disposed within the housing, wherein the rear frame comprises a frame opening having a longitudinal axis;
- providing an inner wall in the opening, the inner wall comprising a proximal end and a distal end wherein at least one first protrusion located at the distal end of the inner wall;
- providing a button within the frame opening, wherein the button is movable from a first position to a second position relative to the distal end of the inner wall, wherein the button comprises a button body, and at least one second protrusion disposed on the button body for engaging the second protrusion on the button body with and moving past the first protrusion on the inner wall upon pressing the button.
A method of locking a push button within a housing of a volatile composition dispenser, the method comprising:
- providing a housing comprising a rear frame and a volatile composition cartridge disposed within the housing, wherein the rear frame comprises a frame opening having a longitudinal axis;
- providing an inner wall in the opening, the inner wall comprising a proximal end and a distal end wherein at least one first protrusion located at the distal end of the inner wall;
- moving a push button within the frame opening wherein the button comprises a button body and at least one second protrusion disposed on the button body;
- engaging the at least one second protrusion disposed on the button body with and moving past the first protrusion on the inner wall.
