Abstract
Disclosed are methods of treating viral infections or disorders of uncontrolled proliferation comprising, in one aspect, administering compounds that are phospholipase D inhibitors and/or Akt therapeutic agents. This abstract is intended as a scanning tool for purposes of searching in the particular art and is not intended to be limiting of the present invention.
Claims20
A method for treating a disorder in a subject, comprising the step of co-administering to the subject an Akt therapeutic agent and a phospholipase D inhibitor, thereby treating the disorder in the subject;
- wherein the amount of the Akt therapeutic agent co-administered with the phospholipase D inhibitor is less than the amount of the Akt therapeutic agent administered in the absence of the phospholipase D inhibitor in order to achieve the same therapeutic effect in the subject, wherein the disorder is a viral infection.
