A method for addressing overproduction of IL-15 and/or IL-2 in a patient comprising the steps of:
- identifying IL-15 and/or IL-2 produced by the patient;
- administering at least one dose form to the patient presenting with elevated levels of IL-15 and/or IL-2, the dose form comprising an effective amount of a 7-Aminocephalosporanic acid derivative, wherein the elevated levels of IL-15 and/or IL-2 are associated with rheumatiod arthritis, psoriasis inflammatory bowel disease, sarcoidosis, T-cell leukemias or transplant rejection for at least one of prevention or treatment of at least one disease symptom.
A method for addressing overproduction of IL-15 and/or IL-2 in a patent comprising the steps of:
- identifying elevated levels of IL-15 and IL-2 in a patient;
- administering at least one dose form to the patient presenting with elevated levels of at least one of IL-15 and IL-2, the dose form comprising an effective amount of a 7-Aminocephalosporanic acid derivative, wherein the elevated levels of IL-15 and/or IL-2 are associated with at least one IL-15 and/or IL-2 overproduction disease such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, sarcoidosis, T-cell leukemias or transplant rejection, and wherein the administering step addresses one of treatment or prevention of at least one disease symptom.
A method for reducing synthesis of TNF-α and/or IL 17 in a patient experiencing IL-15 and IL-2 overproduction comprising the steps of:
- administering a therapeutic amount of a pharmaceutical formulation containing 7-Aminocephalosporanic acid derivative in an amount sufficient to inhibit IL-15 and IL-2 receptors in the patient.
