An amorphous empagliflozin complex with a cyclodextrin.
A process for preparing an amorphous empagliflozin complex comprising the steps of:
- a) dissolving empagliflozin in a solvent to provide a first solution;
- b) adding a cyclodextrin to the first solution;
- and
- c) isolating an amorphous empagliflozin solid dispersion.
