Abstract
An intelligent shading umbrella includes a processor, a base assembly, a stem assembly coupled to a base assembly and a central support assembly coupled to a stem assembly, the central support assembly including one or more arm support assemblies. The intelligent shading umbrella further comprises one or more blades, coupled to the arm support assemblies. The intelligent shading umbrella further comprises an infrared receiver, the infrared receiver receiving signals from a remote device and communicating signals to control movement of the intelligent shading umbrella.
Claims20
An intelligent shading umbrella, comprising:
- a processor;
- a base assembly;
- a stem assembly coupled to a base assembly;
- a central support assembly coupled to a stem assembly, the central support assembly comprising one or more arm support assemblies;
- one or more blades, coupled to the arm support assemblies;
- and
- an infrared receiver, the infrared receiver to receive signals from a remote device and to communicate signals to control movement of the intelligent shading umbrella.
A method of operating an intelligent shading object via remote control, comprising:
- receiving commands from a remote control device at an infrared receiver;
- communicating commands or signals from the infrared receiver to a controller;
- communicating commands or signals from the controller to a motor controller;
- and
- communicating commands from the motor controller to a motor to control assemblies of the intelligent shading object.
