Abstract
The present invention is directed to methods of improving plant growth by applying an effective amount of (S)-abscisic acid and glycine betaine to the plant. The present invention is further directed to methods of improving stress tolerance in a plant by applying an effective amount of (S)-abscisic acid and glycine betaine to the plant.
Claims20
A method of improving plant growth comprising applying an effective amount of (S)-abscisic acid ((S)-ABA) and glycine betaine (GB) to the plant, wherein the weight ratio of (S)-ABA:GB is from about 1:1 to about 1:33.
A method of improving stress tolerance in a plant comprising applying an effective amount of (S)-abscisic acid ((S)-ABA) and glycine betaine (GB) to the plant, wherein the weight ratio of (S)-ABA:GB is from about 1:1 to about 1:33.
A composition comprising (S)-abscisic acid ((S)-ABA) and glycine betaine (GB), wherein the weight ratio of (S)-ABA:GB is from about 1:1 to about 1:33.
