Abstract
A wireless communication system is disclosed. More particularly, a control method and device based on multiple priorities in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method of controlling a back-off timer in a terminal configured with multiple priorities, which includes transmitting a first non-access stratum (NAS) request message set to a first priority level, starting the back-off timer configured by a network, and transmitting a second NAS request message, which is not set to the first priority level, while the back-off timer runs.

1-16. (canceled)
A method for controlling a back-off timer in a terminal configured with multiple non-access stratum (NAS) signaling priorities, the method comprising:
- checking if a back-off timer runs due to a rejection of a first request message having a first NAS signaling priority level;
- and
- transmitting a second request message without a NAS signaling priority level to a network, when the back-off timer runs due to the rejection,
- wherein the transmission of the second request message is performed without stopping the back-off timer.
A terminal for controlling a back-off timer if multiple non-access stratum (NAS) signaling priorities are configured, the terminal comprising:
- a transmitter and a receiver;
- and
- a processor controls the transmitter and the receiver,
- wherein the processor checks if a back-off timer runs due to a rejection of a first request message having a first NAS signaling priority level;
- and transmits a second request message without a NAS signaling priority level to a network, when the back-off timer runs due to the rejection,
- wherein the transmission of the second request message is performed without stopping the back-off timer.
